When are you planning on opening?

As soon as we get close to our funding goal!

What will your hours be?

Probably 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday -> Sunday, but if you need another time or a few minutes after closing just let us know, we can be flexible.

Will you have drinks?

We will probably free coffee, water, and a proper hydration mix during the summer.

What should I know before I get to the shop.

1. The approximate location of your car's center of gravity for better lift positioning. On most vehicles it will be forward of the center of the actual vehicle due to the weight of the engine and other components.

2. Your car's service lifting points, which can be found relatively easily through a google search. There should be at least 4 of these points, sometimes more, located somewhat near the wheels. If you're on the floor using our floor jack these will be in the middle of the vehicle toward the front and rear, and when looking for these you specifically want to look up "floor jack points (your vehicle here).

3. The direction you turn a bolt to tighten it (right)

Can you just show me what to do?

Some times but not always, like you we prefer to just sit and scroll on our phones, and we have to give all customers equal amounts of attention as well as prioritize getting people scheduled, set up, or checked out.

When should I do maintenance?

I've put a lot of research into this topic and have opinions on this. From what I found you don't want to go over 5k miles on oil changes due to carbon build up on the piston rings, and with the new filterless transmissions 60k for a standard transmission and 30k for a cvt. "Sealed for life" means sealed until it explodes just after warranty. For other maintenance the factory schedule is usually fine. Extending maintenance intervals allows manufacturers and dealers to advertise lower cost of ownership and allegedly they get carbon credits as well.

What should I avoid doing?

1. Using the impact wrench or too much force to tighten your drain plugs.

2. Working on the engine or electrical components, including doing the oil on any vehicle with a remote start system, without disconnecting the battery. Disconnecting the negative terminal is the first and last step in disconnecting the battery.

3. Pulling stuff off the car while under it without eye protection on, dust and leaves are not particularly fun to have in your eyes.
