Hello. This community center is the brainchild of me, founder, director, and executive officer Josh Deeney. In my time volunteering in Salem I've watched the homeless situation go from okay, to bad, to very bad. These days nobody under 40 has money to spend on repairs, let alone the maintenance requred to keep a vehicle going, especially at the rates dealerships are asking for. To try and alleviate both of these problems I synthesized the ideas of garages for DIYers where ordinary people can go to work on their cars, and those of the non profit corporation.
